Brad Pitt gave a lucky waitress a $700 tip after a family dinner in Berlin, Germany, to celebrate Angelina Jolie's 38th birthday.
Brad Pitt tipped a lucky waitress more than $700.
The actor splashed the cash as he ordered $1,000 worth of sushi and other Japanese dishes and gave the very generous tip to the stunned server at a family dinner to celebrate fiancée Angelina Jolie's 38th birthday at Japanese eatery Kuchi in Berlin, Germany, on Tuesday (04.06.13).
Waitress Undine Orth, 24, told Germany's Bild newspaper: ''They are so cool. At nine o'clock at night, they were there at the door. They took their shoes off, like all guests.''
The 49-year-old heartthrob reportedly ordered up a sample of everything on the menu for himself, Angelina and their six kids - Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - including sushi, salad, yakitori chicken and soup, which came to more than $1,000.
After finishing the appetising meal, Brad whipped out $1,846 in cash and said, 'That's good', according to awestruck Undine.
She said: ''My knees were shaking. I shared the tip with 15 of my colleagues.''
Brad, 49, and Angelina were in town for the German premiere of his new zombie thriller 'World War Z' and spared time from promotional duties to celebrate the 'Salt' beauty's special day.
The hunky actor previously admitted he marked the special occasion by buying his fiancée - who recently revealed she'd had a double mastectomy operation - a ''dirty'' gift.
Quizzed what he bought for Angelina's birthday, he said: ''Oh, that's private, very private. But it's always something for her as a woman, as a mother, and something dirty. Always.''
