Bradley Cooper is set to play the devil in a movie adaptation of John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost.
The Hangover star will embrace his dark side to portray Lucifer in the film, which will be based on the famous verses of the 17th century English poet and revolve around the biblical tale of Adam and Eve's expulsion from the Garden of Eden.
The movie will be directed by I, Robot moviemaker Alex Proyas, who will film much of the production in his native Australia. Paradise Lost is set for a 2013 release.
