Bret Michaels is to play live again following his brain haemorrhage.

The Poison frontman - who suffered the haemorrhage last week - will return to the stage in a month, to play a promised tour date in Arkansas.

A statement posted on his website said: "While Bret is recovering we obviously have some shows that are being rescheduled. We are working to reschedule dates from now until May 21.

"At this time we are planning to resume the tour May 26th in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, provided there are no further complications or setbacks. We will then continue with all scheduled dates throughout the summer and fall, including the June and July tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd."

The 47-year-old singer was rushed to hospital last Thursday (22.04.10) suffering with a bad headache, which was later discovered to be a massive subarachnoid haemorrhage - or bleeding at the base of the brain stem.

Bret is now over the worst of the problem with his doctors reporting his condition has gone from critical to stable.
