Brian May demanded his hair was modelled perfectly for his 'Lego Rock Band' likeness.

The Queen guitarist has been immortalised, along with the rest of his group, in the game as a Lego character, but said he insisted the team behind it work to get his trademark perm exactly right.

He said: "I think my Lego character is wonderful. I want one. We had discussions about the hair, there were a few emails. They had to negotiate to use my likeness, but it's a nice thing."

Brian, 62, said he even got a phone call from the jealous singer of Def Leppard when the Lego likenesses of him and bandmates Freddie Mercury, John Deacon and Roger Taylor were released.

He added: "Joe Elliott rang me up and said he was p***ed off because they didn't make one of him."

Despite the fact he is in the game Brian said he's not likely to play it, however.

Speaking at the Marshall Classic Rock Roll of Honour awards last night (02.11.09), he added: "I haven't got the game, in fact I don't get to play computer games. I used to when the kids were young, playing 'Alien Syndrome' and 'Space Invaders' and 'Centipede' but these days I don't get a second to do things like that.

"I'd kind of like to. Maybe one day I'll go off to a desert island with power and play some video games."
