The third Bridget Jones's Diary installment has hit a stumbling block after director Paul Feig left the production.
Renee Zellweger is set to return as the hapless Brit for a third time, alongside Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.
Bridesmaids boss Feig had worked on a new draft of the script and was set to take charge of the film, but has now decided to drop out.
According to Deadline.com, Universal Studio bosses are now on the hunt for a British director to take over.
The production is set to begin shooting in January (12).
