Country superstar Garth Brooks sold out nine Nashville, Tennessee shows in a day after seats for a string of charity concerts went on sale on Saturday (06Nov10).
Brooks announced a pre-Christmas benefit for the victims of this year's (10) Tennessee floods last month (Oct10), but when that show at the Bridgestone Arena were snapped up by fans, the singer announced two more concerts, and then another six between 16 and 22 December (10).
In total, more than 140,000 tickets were sold and that the concert series will now raise more than $3.5 million (£2.3 million) for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, according to CMT.com.
The shows will also feature Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood, and mark his first full concerts with his entire band in Nashville since 1998.
