Shamed R&B star Chris Brown sealed his career comeback by picking up four trophies at the Bet Awards on Sunday (26Jun11).
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker's career was in ruins after he was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna during a heated fight in 2009, but Brown proved the controversy is firmly behind him at the 2011 Bet Awards prizegiving in Los Angeles.

Brown's former lover was also a winner at the ceremony - Rihanna was named best Female R&B artist.
Kanye West was named the favourite Male Hip-hop Artist, while the female equivalent went to Nicki Minaj. Will Smith's daughter Willow lost out on the Best New Artist award to Wiz Khalifa, but did manage to take home the Young Stars award, along with her brother Jaden.
In the acting stakes, Best Actor went to Idris Elba, while Oscar-nominated star Taraji P. Henson was named Best Actress. The Best Movie prize went to For Colored Girls.
The event in L.A. was hosted by Kevin Hart and a special award was given to Patti LaBelle, who was presented with the honour by Gladys Knight.
