Former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan is teaming up with fellow founding member Mutya Buena - despite recently insisting she had no plans to reunite with her ex bandmates.
Buchanan was ousted from the popular Brit trio in September (09) after months of friction between the singer and fellow Sugababes Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range.
The 25 year old was quickly replaced by Eurovision singer Jade Ewen, even though she was the only original member of the group left, following the departures of Siobhan Donaghy in 2001 and Mutya Buena in 2005.
Subsequent rumours suggested Buchanan was planning to reunite the three original Sugababes to form another band - but she later laughed off the stories.
However, the star is hoping to recruit Buena to work on her solo album.
On her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "I'll hopefully be working with Mutya on my album! Let's see if I can get her attention for 3 seconds first lol (laugh out loud). She's a busy bee (sic)."
And the singer insists she is happy with the way her debut solo project is going: "It's coming along great. I'm keeping it all private... My label hasn't heard 1 thing. I'm happy."
