ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN star Ian Mcculloch feared the band's recent Radio City Music Hall comeback gig in New York would be a disaster - because he hadn't slept for three days before the show.
The exhausted singer admits he was nervous as he made his way to the venue for a performance of classic album Ocean Rain in its entirety - but the music mecca gave him a last minute burst of energy that carried him through the concert.
He explains, "I was in the cab thinking, 'You f**king stupid b**tard'. But then I stepped through the door of Radio City, and it was like going through some weird invisible field of well-being and healing... I loved it."
