The cult group, fronted by Gibby Haynes, have hastily organised a 12-date tour of America's west coast after signing on to headline the Sunset Junction festival later this month (Aug11).
The band will play a warm-up show in San Diego, California on 26 August (11) - the day before the festival appearance. Haynes and his bandmates have also lined up a date at Seattle, Washington's Bumbershoot festival in September (11).
Sunset Junction organiser Michael MCKinley says, "They haven't done anything for about six years and they actually put up a west coast tour behind us asking them. They really didn't have any plans."
The weekend-long street festival will also feature appearances by soul icons Bobby Womack, Brenda Holloway and Kim Weston, Helmet, The Melvins, Hanson and The Three Degrees.
