Incarcerated rapper C-Murder will have to wait a little longer to see if he is granted permission to launch a new appeal against his 2009 murder conviction after his court hearing was delayed.
The embattled hip-hop star, real name Corey Miller, was handed a life sentence in 2003 after he was found guilty of the 2002 killing of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in a nightclub in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The conviction for second degree murder was overturned in 2006 and a second trial got underway in 2009 - only for Miller to be ordered once again to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The younger brother of rap mogul Master P lost his latest appeal against his conviction last year (Dec11), but his lawyer has since taken the case to the country's highest court, the U.S. Supreme Court, for review.
Judges were expected to look over the case this week (begs26Nov12), but the appeal request has subsequently been pushed back to an as-yet-unknown date.
No official reason has been given for the postponement.
