Campbell Accused Of Racial Abuse
A spokesperson for Naomi Campbell has denied allegations the supermodel racially abused a policewoman during a dispute over missing luggage.
The catwalk star was arrested but later released on bail after she was arrested at London's Heathrow airport following the argument last Thursday (03Apr08).
Campbell allegedly spat at an officer and was handcuffed as she left the British Airways aircraft, which had yet to take off from Heathrow - and has now been banned from the airline for life.
Sources allege Campbell called the police officer a "white slag", before reportedly telling a friend, "It just goes to show I have to fight for who I am. It's because I'm black."
A police source tells British newspaper The Sun, "It's a bit rich coming from her (Campbell). The WPC involved said she was calling her a white this and a white that. She has been away from work since the incident."
But a spokesperson for Campbell denies the racial abuse allegations, saying, "This doesn't sound like anything she would say."
