Nude photographs of Carly Rae Jepsen have been reported missing.

The 'Call Me Maybe' hitmaker was reportedly tipped off in March that the raunchy images had been taken from her computer and offered for sale to various media outlets, and the Vancouver Police Department are currently investigating.

A representative for the Canadian police department told gossip website TMZ.com ''in regards to a theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen''.

The site reports there is a potential suspect lined up, and the hacker could face a ''serious'' prison sentence if convicted on charges including criminal harassment and unauthorized access of a computer.

News of the stolen photographs comes just days after Carly was forced to deny she was the star in a sex tape which has surfaced online.

The 26-year-old singer insists the woman in the X-rated footage - which shows a female with long brown hair and a fringe performing a sex act on a man - is ''obviously'' not her.

She tweeted: ''Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me.''

Her spokesperson said: ''This is 200 per cent not Carly.''

The video - which emerged earlier this week - appears to have been filmed recently as Katy Perry and Kanye West's hit 'E.T.' can be heard playing in the background.
