Country singer Carrie Underwood and her hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher are the latest invitees to be on the latest hit-venture from Oprah Winfrey, when the two feature on the next episode of Oprah's Next Chapter.
The show, in which Oprah leaves behind her studio to engage in enlightening and in-depth conversations with all manner of people from within and outside the celebrity spectrum, will give her access into the much-adorned couple in a much more intimate fashion that has been seen in past interviews. Oprah will travel all the way to Nashville, Tennessee, to speak with the couple about married life and the ups and down of juggling a hectic professional with a close and personal relationship. Carrie will also be delving deep into the world being a musician and Mike into the world of a professional hockey-player. This particular foray is but one of the many stops for Miss Underwood/Mrs Fisher as she continues the promotion of her fourth studio album, 'Blown Away.' The album has so far proved to be particularly well received, as it is currently spending its second week atop the Billboard Charts in the US, batting off competition from the likes of Adele and Lionel Richie.
The flagship show on Oprah's Own - or Oprah Winfrey Network - has previously seen her interview George Lucas, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and the family of the late Whitney Houston. The intimate interview with the late singer's family, including her daughter Bobbi Kristina, raked in 3.5 million viewers when it aired on March 11, 2012.
