Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has warned reporters to quit quizzing her about her bipolar disorder because she's "sick of talking about it".
News of the Chicago star's health issues emerged last year (11) when she checked into a medical facility in Connecticut to combat a serious bout of depression.
She has been open about dealing with the mental illness in recent months, but it appears the Welsh beauty has finally had enough of journalists' questions about her diagnosis, insisting everyone has personal problems.
When asked about how she's coping with the condition during an interview on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America on Friday (07Dec12), she snapped back, "You know what? I'm sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this. I never wanted this to come out publicly. It came out.
"I dealt with it in the best way I could and that was just saying that, 'Look, hey, I'm bipolar'. Everyone has things going on and we're doing the best we can. We can't jump from the rooftops shouting about, 'I have this, look at me, victim' - no. We all have issues in life and I'm really happy I have great friends, great support and that's all I can do."
Zeta-Jones' diagnosis in early 2011 came after a tough year for the actress and her husband Michael Douglas, who had been undergoing treatment for throat cancer. He was given the all-clear at the end of last year (11).
