New York punk mecca CBGB is in trouble again four years after the club closed.
Bosses at CBGB Holdings LLC, the company that bought the right to market the name of the fabled club which helped launch the careers of the Ramones, Talking Heads and Blondie, have filed for bankruptcy.
The investors took over the brand name and intellectual property rights in 2008, and planned to market CBGB.
The company has listed debts of between $1 million (£666,000) and $10 million (£6.6 million) in its court filing, according to Billboard.com.
