Charles Worthington goes for a ''total look'' when styling people's hair.
The iconic hairdresser - who was responsible for many celebrities tresses at the EE BAFTAs on Sunday (10.02.13), including Sarah Jessica Parker - says he will take everything into account when deciding on a do as it's important the style is flattering.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''I go for a 'total look' as it's very important that the hair goes with the outfit and fits in with the style. Also, I like to look at someone's face shape because everyone needs a style that will frame their face and enhance their features.''
Charles says he loves working on red carpet hairstyles because it shows women watching they can also achieve luscious locks.
He said: ''There's a reality to the red carpet. The looks of models in magazines can be a bit un-achievable because they are extraordinary beings whereas actresses are real people in all shapes and sizes. And because you're seeing them walking and moving and can see them in films, and although their hair may look great on the red carpet, you would have seen them not looking so good at some point in their movies. So women can think, 'I've got similar hair to her', after seeing her in a film and then see them on the red carpet and think, 'You I could also achieve great hair.' So I definitely think the red carpet inspires people.''
Charles Worthington is the Official Hair Stylist to the EE British Academy Film Awards. The Charles Worthington EE BAFTA Instant Amplifying Volume Treatment is available from Boots, £14.99.
