Charlie Sheen - Charlie Sheen Investigation Is Still Ongoing Say Police
Charlie Sheen, the 45-year-old American actor who is being accused of false imprisonment and harassment by the adult movie star CAPRI ANDERSON, is still being investigated by police despite reports that the case has been dropped. It was initially reported that the actor would not face charges for the incident at a New York hotel back in October 2010, however, a spokesman for the NYPD has dismissed the speculation, according to the Toronto Sun.
The 'Two and a Half Men' star hit the headlines after police were called to a disturbance at the New York Plaza where Sheen was staying after spending time with his ex-wife Denise Richards and their children. However, Anderson had alleged that after joining him in his room the actor had begun throwing furniture around the suite in a drunken rage. Sheen voluntarily left with the authorities and underwent a psychiatric examination. Despite the actor's representatives blaming the incident on an "adverse reaction to medication", Anderson lodged a complaint of second-degree harassment and claimed that she had to lock herself in the bathroom in fear.
Reports surfacing earlier today (15th December 2010) had suggested that the case against Sheen had been closed, but a spokesman for the New York Police Department dismissed the story, saying the reports were "wrong". Furthermore, Anderson's attorney KEITH DAVIDSON said, "The story that the New York District Attorney has determined not to file charges against Sheen for the events at The Plaza is not true".
