Chris Brown will be back in a Los Angeles court today (17.09.12) to answer more questions on the Rihanna assault case.

The singer, convicted in February 2009 of the assault of his then-girlfriend, was due in court today for a review of his probation.

However, last week Chris surrounded himself with more controversy by sporting a new tattoo that bears a striking resemblance to a photograph of Rihanna's bruised face that was revealed after the assault.

But Brown's representative has denied the claims, saying: ''His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.''

What's more, further controversy has followed Chris over the weekend.

On Saturday (15.09.12), copies of his latest record 'Fortune' were defaced in HMV stores with labels warning people against buying the album.

The advisory labels read: ''Warning. Do not buy this album. This man beats women.''
