Chris Rock thinks Barack Obama is the right man to 'clean up' the country and supports the US President in the current election campaign.

The 'Madagascar' actor talks to Details.com about his support of Obama and his experience of bullying whilst growing up in the working-class area of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He is asked about his thoughts on the US President when a scene was brought up from his upcoming romantic comedy '2 Days in New York' featuring the star talking to a cardboard cut-out of Obama. 'If I want to talk to him, I can call him', he reveals. 'The country was in shambles, and he's cleaning it up. If you properly clean a room, it gets dirtier before it gets cleaner. [Mitt] Romney's complaining. But Romney's rich. He doesn't know s*** about cleaning.'

Referring to the fact that Obama happens to be the first African American to be appointed President of the United States, Rock explains, 'Being the first black, anything sucks.' The interview comes round to Rock's own experiences of being isolated by his race while he was at school. 'I was one of the first black kids in the history of the school', he says. 'There were parents with signs: 'N***** Go Home'. I was spit on every day. I had water balloons with piss thrown at me.'

Rock, who has starred in various comedy and animated blockbusters including 'Don't Mess With the Zohan', 'Bee Movie', 'Doctor Dolittle' and the autobiographical TV series 'Everybody Hates Chris', is currently working on a comedy documentary called 'Credit is the Devil' - a concept which he believes he is all too familiar with since becoming a wealthy Hollywood star.
