Christian Louboutin has released a book documenting his most iconic styles.

The legendary shoe designer - who is known for his signature red-lacquered soles - will also give an insight into his career influences, as well as photos from his personal archives.

As yet unnamed, the tome will be divided in to six chapters, with the first laying out his personal biography, including the work he undertook early on in his career for the likes of CHANEL and YVES SAINT LAURENT.

The second section will look at the differing interiors of the label's international stores, while the third chapter in the book will chart 20 years of design by Louboutin.

Intimate photographs of the designer's homes in Egypt and Paris will comprise chapter four, while five and six will explore his recent collaboration with prestigious director David Lynch.

Some of Louboutin's most treasured friends and models, including the likes of Dita Von Teese, Mika and Kristen Scott Thomas have also contributed to the tome.
