George Clooney is the latest celebrity to plead for help in raising funds for the Haitian earthquake relief effort - the actor will host a U.S. telethon later this month (Jan10).
The Up in the Air star has reportedly partnered with MTV to host the show next Friday (22Jan10).
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Clooney is urging his famous pals to appear on the telethon to aid in fundraising.
The actor's pal Brad Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie have already donated $1 million (£625,000) to Doctors Without Borders and Haitian singer Wyclef Jean has also urged support for earthquake survivors through his Yele Haiti charity.
Stars including Ben Stiller, Jessica Alba, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey and Chris Martin have also called for people to lend their support to those left homeless after Tuesday's (12Jan10) disaster.
