Actor Corin Nemec is suing bosses behind a horror movie he shot earlier this year (13) over allegations he was severely injured during filming.

The Parker Lewis Can't Lose star was travelling with a film crew on a boat to the set of Rise of the Dinosaurs in Belize when their vessel struck a semi-submerged barge in January (13).

Nemec was admitted to hospital and treated for blood loss and an injured leg, which was broken in three places.

He has now filed suit against filmmakers, alleging they failed to carry the necessary compensation insurance for the cast.

The actor also claims he has been left with permanent injuries which still require treatment six months after the accident, according to editors at Tmz.com.

Nemec is seeking damages exceeding $25,000 (£16,129).
