Prince William's aunt Sophie, Countess Of Wessex was involved in a nasty riding accident this week (beg25Apr11) but she is reportedly refusing to let her injuries stop her attending the royal wedding on Friday (29Apr11).
Sophie, who is married to Charles, Prince of Wales' brother Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is said to have fallen from a horse while riding in Windsor, England on Monday (25Apr11).
She was taken to the nearby Princess Margaret Hospital and an X-ray showed she had sustained a broken rib and bruising, according to Britain's Daily Mail.
The publication reports Sophie, 46, was prescribed painkillers and ordered to rest, but she is still determined to attend her nephew's wedding to Kate Middleton in London on Friday (29Apr11). Sophie and Edward's seven-year-old daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, will be a bridesmaid at the ceremony.
