Cuba Gooding Jr is a wanted man. An arrest warrant has been issued for the 44 year old actor following an incident in a Bourbon Street bar in New Orleans. In a news release, police have revealed that Cuba was in the bar at around 3am yesterday (July 31, 2012) when he started to get a little upset with some of the other patrons, who wanted to have their photo taken with him.
When a bartender asked the Jerry Maguire star to calm down, he allegedly pushed her, according to a report from Huffington Post. She told him that he should leave and he then pushed her again, the report claims. She also told him that the police had been called. Before the police could arrive at the bar, Cuba had left. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, for municipal battery, which is a misdemeanour offence. If the allegations are true, Cuba Gooding Jr. may need to be re-named Cuba Badding Jr. The public don't take kindly to incidences such as these, especially when it involves a female victim. Cuba Gooding Jr's publicist was apparently not available for comment on the matter. The actor's whereabouts are currently unclear but it does not seem that he has turned himself in, as yet.
Cuba Gooding Jr. is best known for his dramatic roles in movies such as Jerry Maguire, As Good As It Gets and Men of Honour. In 1997 he won an Academy Award for his role in Jerry Maguire, for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
