Rapper DADDY YANKEE is facing legal action from a concert promoter over allegations the star pulled out of a 10-show tour in Argentina at the last minute.
In a lawsuit filed in Florida federal court, promoter Diego Hernan De Iraola claims he paid the star $820,000 (£512,000) in advance to play six shows in South America, before agreeing with the rapper's team to increase the tour to 10 dates, for an extra $480,000 (£300,000).
The lawsuit alleges Yankee's managers asked for the extra $480,000 to be paid before he travelled to Argentina, and then pulled out of the dates when promoters promised to hand over the money after his arrival in the country, according to Tmz.com.
Iraola claims the cancellation caused him so much stress he suffered several health problems.
He is demanding the $820,000 advance to be returned, plus unspecified damages.
