Cult British rocker Dan Treacy is recovering after spending five weeks in a coma following surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain.
The Television Personalities frontman was placed in a medically-induced coma in October (11) after the operation, and it's now emerged he regained consciousness a month later and is out of intensive care.
In a recent online post, Treacy's sister wrote, "Fantastic news, Daniel is out of Itu (intensive therapy unit) and making great progress. Daniel has a way to go yet but at the moment all is going in the right direction... This is the miracle we have all prayed for."
