Embattled Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel has been hit with a second charge of murder.
The 35-year-old rapper, real name Adijah Palmer, is already facing accusations he conspired with three others to kill 27-year-old businessman Barrington Burton, who died on the streets of St. Catherine in July (11).
Kartel, who has vowed to fight the allegations, was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession last month (Sep11) and recently charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
But the counts are continuing to pile up and now he's accused of being involved in the killing of Clive Williams in the parish of St. Andrew in August (11).
Assistant Commissioner of Police Ealan Powell says, "He is being investigated in connection with a number of murders, shootings and gun running."
