Daniel Radcliffe was reportedly asked to leave a New York nightclub following a disagreement with the DJ.

While the 'Harry Potter' actor and DJ Michael T. Radcliffe initially hit it off at Beauty Bar on 14th Street, Daniel - who was allegedly drinking Jagerbombs - was encouraged to leave by the management following the verbal altercation.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six: ''All was in good fun, and a special request for a Dusty Springfield song was even granted before a Jagerbomb-fuelled Radcliffe got into a twist with the DJ. He was soon encouraged by management to grab a cab.''

Daniel previously insisted he hates clubbing and gave up alcohol in 2010.

He said: ''I think [paparazzi] know I'm quite dull so they don't really follow me around. I don't do much, I go to work, I do my job, I come home and then I sleep. There's really nothing that I do in between.

''I think I've been to three clubs in my life which were awful nights. It was just terrible, I don't need to go into it. I don't give them as much to be interested in.''

''[Giving up alcohol] restored happiness that I didn't expect, I have the most amazing relationship now with my mum and dad and just with people generally. I don't live in fear anymore.''
