Daniel Radcliffe claims he would rather "sit at home and read" than go out drinking and partying. In a forthcoming issue of GQ Magazine, Radcliffe admits he became 'reliant' on alcohol during the filming of the final Harry Potter movies, but insists he has not had a drink since August 2010.
The 21-year-old, said to be worth around $80 million, admits his lifestyle of hard partying became an issue, saying, "There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me." The actor was famously photographed celebrating his 21st birthday in St Petersburg with a bottle of vodka. He admitted he was fortunate the paparazzi didn't capture his worst behaviour more often, saying, "I really got away with that because there were many instances when a shot like that could have been taken". As for his new-found lifestyle, Radcliffe claims he is happy to enjoy the quiet life with his girlfriend, adding, ".I'd just rather sit at home and read, or talk to somebody that makes me laugh"
Daniel Radcliffe, currently starring in the Broadway production of 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying', is set to star in the final Harry Potter movie, 'The Deathly Hallows: Part 2'. The film is scheduled for release in the UK and US on 15th July 2011.
