Australian pop star Dannii Minogue is eager to find a new TV project in the U.K. after refusing an offer to return to The X Factor.
The singer sat on the panel of Simon Cowell's hit talent show for four years, before Kelly Rowland was drafted in to replace her in a shake-up of the judges' table last year (11).
After the Destiny's Child superstar failed to sign up for a second run, bosses at Britain's Itv network approached Minogue to return - but she snubbed the offer.
However, Minogue admits she is desperate to return to her adopted country and appear on the small screen in a new project.
She tells Glamour magazine, "I was offered the chance to return (to The X Factor) but I decided it wasn't the right thing for me, as yet again it didn't fit in with the commitments I'd already made to Australia's Got Talent (Agt). I have been with Agt since the first episode, and it's filmed in my hometown. I am fiercely passionate about every show I commit to. I had four incredible years on The X Factor, but the show has moved on, and so have I.
"I am actively looking for something that I could do in the U.K. I really want to come back and do something, but I would want it to be right. I was very happy at Itv, and we would like to find something. It's all about (my son) Ethan and making it work with his schedule and routine, but we'll see what happens."
