Dappy, the former N-DUBZ rapper, has been arrested on suspicion of affray, following a fight that left three men seriously injured, BBC News reports today. The incident happened on February 28, 2012 at a petrol station in Guildford and involved two girls and a group of men.

According to Surrey Police, a fight broke out after somebody spat at one of the girls in question. During the fight at the garage on Woodbridge Road, Guildford, two men sustained injuries to their face. A statement from the police revealed the following information: "Two girls and three men were outside the garage at 3.30am. They were interrupted by two suspects who had turned up in a car and asked the girls to go with them. The invitation was refused and one of the suspects then spat at one of the girls. As a result an altercation ensued involving the first two suspects and a further group of up to six black and white men who arrived in two further vehicles. The trio of men were assaulted and received serious facial injuries in the attack."

Police have appealed for witnesses to the attack. This is not the first time that Dappy has found himself on the wrong side of the law. In December 2008, he pleaded guilty to two counts of assault, one of which involved spitting in a girl's face. The following month, he was arrested and bailed on suspicion of making death threats, with a gun. He and his band mate Fazer were also removed from a BA flight by police for threatening passengers whilst the plane was airborne.
