Former N-Dubz star DAPPY has come on record denying his participation in an apparent brawl that took place in February at a Surrey petrol station. The 'No Regrets' singer apparently became embroiled in a brawl with a group of men when he and his unnamed 27-year-old friend approached a group of women at the Shell petrol station. Their advances were refused, which led to one of them allegedly spitting at the women before another group of up to six men in two cars arrived. This lead to an altercation in which the three men with the girls were assaulted and received serious facial injuries following the event - which Surrey police are still investigating.
With the apparent incident gaining much heat, Dappy has since taken to his Twitter to dispute all claims. He said: "Surrey police, i beg u leak that cctv footage u showed me in that stinking interview room just 2 show the world that im completely innocent."
Apparently the singer and his accomplice are out of prison on bail until May, therefore we should find out whether it was Dappy or not soon enough. A spokesperson has come on record admitting that a '27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of affray,' although it is still unknown just who the two people are.
