Dave Grohl won't let his daughter wear the baby clothes Sir Paul McCartney bought for her.

The Foo Fighters frontman and wife Jordyn couldn't bring themselves to let daughter, Harper, 23 months, wear the garments after they realised the Beatles legend had picked them personally.

He told NME magazine: "He wanted to give my wife and I a gift for my newborn baby. So he brought some baby clothes.

"And we noticed that they were from a store that's kinda near where we live, so the next time Jordyn was in the store she said, 'Paul McCartney ordered some stuff for our kid from this store.'

"And the guy was like, 'No, no, no, Paul came in and he picked it out by himself!' So our kid's not allowed to wear those clothes, ever! We've framed them, she's not getting them!'"

The 'Rope' rocker - who also has daughter Violet Maye, four, with Jordyn - also revealed his youngest child is a fan of teen pop sensation Justin Bieber.

He added: "My daughter Harper, who is not even two, can sing that 'Baby' song.

"So whatever that dude did to brainwash the world with that crazy, music s**t he does, God bless him, you know!"

Foo Fighters seventh album 'Wasting Light' is released on April 11, proceeded by single 'Rope', which is out now.
