David Beckham, 36, says he sometimes feels his age but other times he still feels as if he is 20 years old.
David Beckham still feels 20 years old.
The 36-year-old soccer star - who has sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and six-year-old Cruz, as well as six-month-old daughter Harper with wife Victoria Beckham - admits he occasionally feels his years are catching up with him, but often has a youthful attitude.
Asked if he is beginning to feel his age, he said: "I actually didn't know how to answer that question to be honest, but there are some mornings I feel twenty years old, and some mornings I feel my age."
David and his family are based in Los Angeles but the sportsman admits they all miss their home country.
Speaking on UK TV show 'Daybreak', he said: "We're English, so of course we miss London, we miss England. We're very patriotic about our country as everybody knows, and we love going back there. But right now, we're very happy living in LA."
David has recently signed a two-year contract extension to remain with Los Angeles Galaxy and he admits his decision not to accept an offer to move elsewhere was down to keeping a stable home life for his kids.
He said: "The whole family had a contribution in a way. We made a decision based on where our children are happy, where the place is that they're most stable. We were aware of all the other offers, and at my age, to be offered some of the contracts that I did get offered - you know, you have to take them seriously and you have to look at all options.
"But like I said, our family have been so happy in the last five years living in Los Angeles and we wanted that to continue."
