Soccer superstar David Beckham insists on overseeing kitchen duties in his family home after taking a cooking course in Italy.
The sportsman and his wife Victoria are parents to three sons and a baby daughter, and Beckham has shed light on their home life in a new interview with Bbc children's news show Newsround.
He says, "Victoria's the strict one to a point and after that I kind of take over. But we're both kind of strict, we were brought up like that. Without a doubt, they (sons) have to earn (their pocket money). They have to put their plates in the dishwasher or make their bed in the morning - and if they don't do it they don't get (their allowance)."
Beckham also reveals he enrolled on a chef's course while he played for Italian side A.C. Milan, adding: "I always cook for (my family). They love my Bolognese because when I lived in Italy for a while, I went to a cooking school."
