David Hasselhoff once signed autographs for Britain's Princes William and Harry.

The former 'Baywatch' actor says the royals' mother Princess Diana - who died in a car accident in 1997 - admired his appearance when they met and revealed that her sons were fans of his work.

Referring to how much time he spent wearing only shorts in 'Baywatch', David said: ''Diana was introduced to me and she said, 'You look good with your clothes on!' And I told her, 'Thanks, so do you!' I asked her if she'd like some autographs for her kids and she said, 'absolutely'.''

David also revealed that 'Gladiator' actor Russell Crowe is another fan of his work.

According to the 'Knight Rider' star, Russell was so over-awed by him, he followed him around in Morocco when they met for the first time.

He told Britain's OK! magazine: ''I'll tell you who got really star struck, Russell Crowe. He used to watch 'Knight Rider' when he was a kid and when he met me, he was like, 'Wow!' he followed me around Morocco.''
