An initial autopsy has shown "no obvious natural causes" for the death of David Hockney's studio assistant.

Dominic Elliott died on Sunday (18Mar13) after he fell ill at the British artist's home in East Yorkshire, England, and was taken to Scarborough General Hospital.

A post-mortem examination was performed on Tuesday (19Mar13), but the official cause of death will remain a mystery for some weeks, according to Humberside Police.

A spokesperson reveals further tests will be carried out to determine what killed the 23 year old.
