Director David O. Russell is giving one lucky lady the chance to star opposite Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Renner by auctioning off a walk-on role in his next film to raise money for charity.

The filmmaker hopes to raise a small fortune for the Connecticut school his bipolar son Matthew attends as a way of thanking his boy for inspiring him to make Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook.

Announcing the fundraiser for the Devereux Glenholme School during an appearance on U.S. talk show Katie on Monday (04Feb13), Russell said, "You will be onscreen in an upcoming picture I'm making with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and a woman to be named... We'll be shooting on the (American) East Coast this spring (13)."
