British funnyman David Walliams is backing a London music service's fundraising drive in a bid to raise $400,000 (£250,000) annually to keep the scheme going.
The Little Britain star has signed up as a patron of the Camden Music Trust, a charity which helps the local council's musical education schemes.
The organisation has launched a fundraising campaign to sustain the borough's services following budget cuts, and Walliams visited a school in the area earlier this month (Mar13) to watch budding young musicians perform.
Speaking about the visit, the star tells local newspaper the Ham and High, "I was really impressed. There is a professional standard here. I really enjoyed listening to the musicians."
