Electronic dance music superstar Deadmau5 has laughed off reports suggesting he has grossed an $11 million (Gbp6.9 million) fortune in the past year.
Forbes magazine editors placed the Dj and producer sixth on their recent list of dance music's biggest earners, but he insists they're way off the money.
The in-demand star, real name Joel Zimmerman, tells Billboard.com, "After I saw the article, I called my manager and said, 'Yo, what the f**k? I'm $9 million short, dude. We gotta talk.' Nobody is making that kind of money."
