CHERIE DECASTRO, the last remaining member of 1950s sibling act the DECASTRO SISTERS, has died at a hospital in Las Vegas.
The 87-year-old and her sisters, Peggy and Babette, became Hollywood singing sensations after making a name for themselves in their native Cuba, where they were a popular club act.
The trio found success on the Las Vegas stage and scored a big hit in 1954 with Teach Me Tonight.
Other favourites included Babalu.
Cherie DeCastro was the middle sister of the trio.
