December Shoot For X-files 2by Contributor | | 31 October 2007
Agents Mulder and Scully have at least one last case to crack it would seem, with reports that the sequel to the X-Files movie will begin shooting in December.
According to ComingSoon.net, creator Chris Carter will commence direction on December 10th, working from a script he penned with Frank Spotniz.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are reportedly in line to reprise their famous roles as agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, though with the plot a tightly-held secret, there's no indication yet of what mystery the dynamic duo will be investigating on this occasion.
It's been nine years since the last X-Files movie, sparked by the huge success of the 1993-2002 TV series, while Duchovny and Anderson have pursued markedly different roles in the last five years.
Duchovny is currently starring in Five's hit US comedy Californication, while Anderson has appeared in period dramas The House of Mirth and Bleak House, as well as starring in the Oscar-nominated The Last King of Scotland.
ComingSoon claims that the new movie, set to begin shooting in Vancouver, has been referred to during the casting process with the enigmatic title Done One.
