Deion Sanders, the Hall of Fame Nfl star, has vehemently denied reports he filed for divorce. In response to recent stories circulating the web Sanders assured fans he has "never" filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, Pilar Sanders.
Although multiple sources were reporting the divorce papers had been filed, Sanders took to his Twitter page to deny the claims, telling followers, "Ladies and gentlemen I never address Ignorance but I must at this point. I've never filed 4 divorce and hadn't made a statement to Any media". The couple, who married in 1999, have starred in their own reality show 'Deion & Pillar: Prime Time Love' since 2008. Before tying the knot with Sanders, Pilar appeared in television series such as 'Walker, Texas Ranger', 'The Jamie Foxx Show' and 'Veronica's Closet' - she also found success as a model. She met her husband on the set of LL Cool J's 'In The House'. The reality show follows the lives of Sanders, his wife, and their five children. The family live in the small town of Prosper, Texas, with the former Nfl star currently working as a football analyst.
As well as his career in football, Sanders released his first album 'Prime Time' in 1994. The album managed to make it into the Top 70 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. His only single 'Must Be The Money', failed to make it into the charts.
