Demi Moore says being skinny doesn't bring happiness.
The stunning actress - who admits her weight has fluctuated over the years - wants her three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, to feel comfortable with themselves and know being thin isn't everything.
She said: "It's never simply about being skinny - I know because I have lived it. I was a little heavier and then got really skinny and it didn't make me happy. I liked it but it didn't bring happiness. I'd never want my kids to go through that. And I think it's good that press aren't too positive about women who are too thin. It's starting to bring a greater awareness too - that extreme is dangerous."
The 47-year-old beauty - who is married to 31-year-old actor Ashton Kutcher - also believes her fashion sense has got better with age.
She told Look magazine: "I had a very chubby face and my kids love to pull out pictures from before they were born. I definitely made some hideous choices and looked terrible and I think, 'Ugh! Look at that hair!' But I think I've grown into a face that is something I like."
