The I'll Do Anything For You hitmaker was held by cops in New York after he was seen leaving a property in the Bronx on Wednesday (14Sep11) while carrying a shrink-wrapped package.
Officers stopped his car and arrested the star after noticing an overwhelming smell of cannabis in the vehicle, according to the New York Daily News.
The cops allegedly discovered two large bags containing 25 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of the 66 year old's car.
Morgan, who lives in Springfield, Massachusetts, has been charged with possessing drugs, running a stop sign, and driving without a seat belt.
