Songwriter Diane Warren's hits are heading to Broadway after theatre producers obtained the rights to her Grammy Award-winning catalogue.

Dede Harris snapped up the collection of over 2,000 tunes and she is set to incorporate some of the star's best-loved tracks, such as How Do I Love, Because You Loved Me and I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, into a new musical.

Harris, who has produced a number of Big Apple productions, including Hairspray and War Horse, tells the Associated Press, "We're starting with a blank canvas and the beauty of the development of this process is that we can let our imaginations run wild. We have so many different songs that we can pull from and create a story from."
