Dion Limbers Up For Beijing Olympics
Celine Dion has written a song she hopes will be chosen as the official theme of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Canadian singer has submitted a song to the board responsible for choosing a track. The winning song will be revealed on 8 August (08) when the games begin in the Chinese capital. And, perhaps in a bid to sway judges, Dion is visiting China in April (08) for her first ever concert there. It won't be the first time the 39-year-old has provided the music of the games - her song The Power of the Dream was the theme of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
