Disney bosses have thawed out their stalled big screen adaptation of children's fairy tale The Snow Queen and set a new release date of 2013.
A movie version of Hans Christian Andersen's popular book, about a young boy and a girl's struggle with good and evil, has been in the works at the Disney studios for over a decade and was initially scrapped in 2002. The project was picked up again soon afterwards, only to be put on ice in 2010.
But studio executives are now ready to give The Snow Queen another chance - they have renamed the revamped movie Frozen and it is scheduled to hit theatres in November 2013.
