For most studios, turning out even one animated film a year keeps their crews scrambling like so many sorcerer's apprentices. But Dreamworks Animation has announced a new slate of three films a year for the next four years -- with four in 2015. They include two sequels to How to Train Your Dragon, a sequel to Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar, as well as such originals as Turbo, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Me and My Shadow, Trolls B.O.O Bureau of Otherworldly Operations, Happy Smekday!, The Croods , and Mumbai Musical . Presumably some of these features will be coproductions with DreamWorks Animation's Chinese partners, China Media Capital, the Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Alliance. It had previously been announced that Kung Fu Panda 3 will be produced in Shanghai.
